No federal official profits from the laws and decisions they make. Full ban on individual stock trading — including spouses, dependents, and so-called "blind" trusts that aren't actually blind — for members of Congress, the President and Vice President, the executive administration, and the Supreme Court.
No more careers built on incumbency. Term limits for members of Congress so power rotates instead of calcifying. Reasonable maximum age limits for federal elected officials so the people writing the laws aren't decades removed from the country they live in. Public service was never meant to be a lifetime appointment.
